NAES Leadership Team
Our leaders put the NAES core values into practice every day as operating principles. They walk the talk, instilling a culture of transparency and integrity. They respond personally if they see a client need that has gone unmet. They embrace the adage of ‘strength in diversity,’ bringing a global range of backgrounds, perspectives and experience to the table. By extension, they have set a standard of treating everyone in the NAES community with respect, regardless of their personal characteristics.
Dr. Fishman has over 30 years of experience in corporate leadership, strategy development and execution, engineering, construction management, and plant operations and maintenance. A power-industry leader, he has a proven track record of increasing shareholder value through rapid growth and restructuring.
Prior to joining NAES, Dr. Fishman served as Chief Operating Officer at General Atomics; Chief Executive Officer at AUSRA (AREVA Solar); Executive Vice President of Operations, Engineering and Development at Calpine; and President of PB Power at Parsons Brinckerhoff.
A former chief engineer in the U.S. Navy, Fishman holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy. He is registered as a Professional Engineer in six states including Washington, California and Texas.
Tom Bartolomei has over 25 years of experience in the global power generation and energy sectors spanning P&L leadership, business development, construction, fabrication and strategic planning. He has direct responsibility for NAES Power Services and also plays a key role in the company’s M&A initiatives.
Before joining NAES in 2014, he served as President and CEO of Eco Power Solutions, an early-stage technology provider of emissions control equipment to the fossil-fuel power generation sector, where he had responsibility for raising capital and maturing the technology for commercial adoption. He has also held executive-level positions at Alstom Power, Burns & Roe Enterprises and AREVA. Mr. Bartolomei holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Andrew Gay has over 25 years of financial experience in senior leadership and consulting roles in North America, the United Kingdom and Australia. His broad commercial experience, which spans oil & gas, energy, property, telecommunications, manufacturing and financial services, complements his strong background in chartered accounting.
Mr. Gay holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and a BS in Business from the University of Technology, Sydney. He is a Certified Public Accountant and an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Norman Escover has 30 years of experience in legal representation and operational management of engineering and construction companies. Since joining NAES in 2014, he has focused on risk management, compliance, contract optimization, insurance, dispute resolution, and corporate governance and plays a central role in implementing the NAES growth strategy.
A licensed Professional Engineer, Mr. Escover holds a JD from the University of San Francisco Law School and a BS in Architectural Engineering from California Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo.
Dan Consie has 27 years of O&M experience in the power generation industry with skills in asset management, engineering, operation and maintenance, and plant engineering. He brings a strong commercial acumen to NAES, combined with hands-on power plant and commercial know-how. Mr. Consie was previously a Vice President of Asset Management and is currently responsible for overseeing all Operations & Maintenance service activities within NAES Corporation. Mr. Consie holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the US Naval Academy.
A senior-level leader with management, finance and legal expertise in the renewable energy, manufacturing and infrastructure sectors, Mr. Morales brings a successful track record of company-building and project development. His unique, cross-functional background includes roles as CFO, COO, investment banker and attorney. Mr. Morales holds a JD from Columbia Law School, an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Cornell University.
Since 2015, Ms. Ingersoll has been the leader of the Gridforce team growing existing core transmission and balancing authority services, and exploring expansion opportunities in remote generation start and dispatch, microgrids, and cyber security.
CJ Ingersoll graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in 1999 and is a Licensed Attorney in the State of Texas. She started her legal career as a solo practitioner prior to shifting to a career in the energy sector as a System Operator at Duke Energy North America in 2001.
Having started his career in high school delivering parts for his father’s electrical construction company, Mr. Olsson has more than 30 years of experience in the electrical construction industry. Following in his father’s footsteps, he developed an affinity for heavy industrial electrical construction. After earning a BS in Economics from the University of Oregon, Mr. Olsson helped to form what is now Olsson Industrial Electric.
Jason Pond has been President of Greenberry Industrial since 1999 when he assumed the company’s leadership from his father, who founded the business in 1974. Over the past 19 years, Mr. Pond has grown and diversified Greenberry through an entrepreneurial leadership style, building and retaining highly motivated teams, and successfully identifying opportunities for long-term growth and stability.
Since 1985, Paul Plath has managed and performed due diligence reviews to support the financing or acquisition of over 170 electric power, energy, or industrial projects. Projects reviewed cover a wide variety of power generation technologies, petrochemical plants, alternative energy, mining and manufacturing facilities. Mr. Plath has significant experience with power generation technology and has written numerous reports and papers on new and emerging technologies for electric power generation and energy conversion.
Mr. Plath has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado and is a registered professional engineer in the State of Colorado.
