Planning considerations:

Transportation:

  • We recommend taking the Link Light Rail from Sea-Tac airport to the University Street Station, which is two blocks from the W Seattle (the conference venue). The cost of a ticket is $3. You can get more information at SoundTransit Link Light Rail.
  • Taxis and Uber and Lyft Rideshares are a convenient option for transportation to and from Sea-Tac. At this point, the cost is estimated to be $55 one-way but may be up to $110 with surge pricing.
  • If you choose to rent a car, the W Seattle offer valet parking for $68 per night. Most downtown parking is reserved paid parking and is typically full.

Hotel:

  • Group rate reservations with W Seattle will be open through August 3rd, 2022, subject to availability.
  • Please contact the Group Reservations line at 800-228-9290 with questions about the hotel.

Social Events:

  • An evening vendor fair and reception will be held at the W Seattle on Monday, August 22 starting at 6:00 p.m. Registration for the conference will be available that evening starting at 5:00 p.m. and the following morning (Tuesday, August 23) starting at 7:00 a.m.
  • On the evening of Tuesday, August 23, all are invited to join us at the Seattle Art Museum (SAM) for appetizers, drinks and networking starting at 6:30 p.m. The SAM is about 5 blocks from the W Seattle (a 10-minute walk).

Seattle Tourism:

  • Seattle is full of restaurants and tourist sites. Check out the Visit Seattle website to see what else you do in the area.

Lastly, we encourage you to check back on this page where you may view updates of the agenda, vendors and sponsors, hotel information, and other items associated with the conference.
