The 2018 Annual Plant Manager Conference

September 24th – 27th, 2018

Welcome to the NAES event of the season! Here you will learn about best practices and NAES capabilities, network with other plant managers across the country, and meet with NAES leadership.

This year’s conference will be held in Seattle, Washington at the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle’s Southport, from September 24^th through 27^th.

As in prior years, the conference this year aims to inform and empower Plant Managers through a variety of presentations, discussion groups, technological breakouts, and training sessions.  Highlights this year include:

• An update from our CEO, Bob Fishman
• A presentation from the Seattle Mariners’ own “Moneyball” data analyst
• Plant awards including several Combined Cycle Journal “Best of the Best” awards and our annual Chuck Bean award
• Keynote address by Bill Treasurer, the well-known author of several leadership books including “Courage Goes to Work.”

There will be a welcome reception the evening of Monday, September 24th, followed by three days of presentations and meetings.

We will have a vendor fair the evening of Tuesday, September 25th. The following morning, selected vendors will be presenting on a variety of power plant-focused informational topics during breakout sessions.

On Wednesday evening (September 26th), the NAES team building event will include a tour of the historical Seattle Underground, followed by dinner in Pioneer Square.
