Issaquah, WA, 04/12/2005 -- ISSAQUAH, WA - North American Energy Services Company (NAES), a broad-based provider of services to the power generation industry, announced today it is providing operations and maintenance (O&M) services for Liberty Electric Power LLC. Liberty Electric Power LLC owns a 568 MW natural-gas fired combined cycle generating facility located in the Borough of Eddystone, Pennsylvania (Facility). The Facility became commercially operational on May 22, 2002. The energy and capacity from the Facility is bid into the PJM power pool.
The Facility consists of two GE 7FA combustion turbines with two single reheat HRSGs with duct burners, one 242 MW steam turbine generator, and one 12-cell mechanical draft cooling tower. The Facility is equipped with two SCR systems and dry low-nitrogen oxide gas turbine combustion technology for NOx control. The Facility utilizes a 230 kV transmission line interconnection to a Philadelphia Electric Company (PECO) electric substation.
