NAES SIGNS O&M AGREEMENT FOR CIMARRON WIND
ISSAQUAH, WA NAESsm Corporation, a broad-based provider of services to the energy industry, announces that it has signed an operations and maintenance (O&M) agreement for the 166 MW Cimarron Wind Facility near Dodge City, Kansas. Currently under construction, NAES expects to assume operations in late 2012.
Cimarron, developed, owned and managed by CPV Renewable Energy Company, is comprised of 72 Siemens 2.3 - 108 wind turbine generators. Each wind turbine generator sits atop a 264 foot tall tower and generates full output of electricity when the wind speed is approximately 29 MPH. All power will be fed to the grid at 345kV to Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA).
NAES is responsible for operations and maintenance of Cimarron, including site staffing, maintenance of balance of plant equipment, and management of the turbine service and maintenance agreement and other site maintenance contractors.
